(PLEASE NOTE: The old oil in the photo is old original Mazda fluid! This is NOT used Redline oil.) I used it in my 2010s with Mazdaspeed3 about 75,000km on it. . I changed it myself, the shops in the area didn't want to bother with it. The original gear oil was never changed (simply because Mazda claims the original factory fluid is a "lifetime" fluid, which is obviously NOT the case) and came out of the car dark as coke and thick as (the real one ) maple syrup. And this new liquid is clear, with a slight red tinge, and flows a little more easily than the old, nasty black liquid. Before I changed it, I had serious problems with sticking when shifting into 1st and 2nd gear (the shifter often wouldn't fully engage the gear). It was so bad that I thought about getting rid of the car. But this new oil fixed everything 100%. With the old oil I also had a problem when shifting into 2nd gear with a squeak (worn synchro maybe?), this oil didn't completely eliminate that squeak but significantly reduced it and now it completely disappears when the car starts. fully warmed up. I still can't believe Mazda doesn't have a transmission oil change interval in the transmission3. This fluid needs to be replaced. How to replace it in a Mazdaspeed3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWMk_Q1pE8c Tip: If you manage to find a long enough funnel or extend the existing one, then you don't need it around the airbox to remove. I extended mine with a plastic water hose.
