The photo shows the original part in black. This ordered item is white. My 2010 F-150 KR with automatic air conditioning got stuck at either top speed or no top speed. A few YouTube videos and a Google search brought me here. There are a few part numbers where it's not clear what the major differences are. I'm guessing the horsepower to fan size ratio, which means the Mustang probably has a less powerful HVAC fan than the F-150, which requires a less powerful part. However, order this part. Drop your glove box. Take an 8mm head. Right in front of it is this old HVAC fan assembly piece. Disconnect power wiring harness, unscrew 2 8mm screws, remove old part and install in reverse order. Check your operation by using the air conditioner and checking the fan speed. 10 minutes work.
