Compared to the plastic covers, this one is easier to install (you don't have to take off the band) and it stays nice looking. I've had it on my watch for several months, and it doesn't get scratched up like the plastic covers did. It also looks better. I have ordered plastic covers several times, but after a while they always ended up scratched and dingy looking.
