Excellent DIY product. The only problem is not with the product, but with the fact that the tablet is quite difficult to open. Once you open it, installation is very simple. It literally takes seconds. I recommend getting this and fixing the problem yourself rather than paying a repair shop. I recommend checking the top right corner of the motherboard for corrosion or sparking. If present, clean before assembly. This is the part of the board where there are 3 or 4 copper contact points where the top shield board contact makes contact with the main board. There are 2 sets of these pins, one set on the top right and one on the bottom right. Hope that helps. Mine kind of rusted and turned black. Which can easily lead to a short circuit of the board. Also, make sure the contacts that come in contact with the side of the screen are also clean.
