These beautiful plain white serving bowls have a very smooth, high quality finish with no defects. They are the perfect size for appetizers or desserts. They have fine lines around the perimeter and while they feel solid in your hands, they're not overly heavy or thick like earthenware. They think that high-quality porcelain is a must. Very easy to clean with a little detergent and warm water, but has also survived the dishwasher without any problems. Very happy with my purchase and excellent value.
