Review on Pyrex Simply Store 2-Cup Round Glass Food Storage Container by Amanda Bonner

It's just a glass bowl with a plastic snap-on lid, so not too interesting. We have dozens of different sizes. The glass is holding up very well, as expected. I love that they can be sent straight from the freezer to the microwave, obviously having to remove the lid first. Lids close well at room temperature. I have found that when removing from the freezer, you must rinse the lid with warm water before attempting to remove it. Only along the edge where it closes the glass. This makes the lid more flexible and easier to remove. With 2 cups and smaller sizes this is more obvious. Large sizes are not large. A couple of 2-cup bowls have the lid torn at the edge where it covers the side of the bowl. This happened every time the lid was cold. Hence the recommendation for warm water. Unfortunately, if it tears, the lid no longer closes properly. Otherwise a decent product.
