I switched my house crates to pellets as I got tired of cats looking for litter all over the house. I also wanted to switch to a more sustainable alternative to clay bedding. Two out of three of my cats will use pellet bowls more often and the other is a heavy clay user. In most cases they will only urinate and the granules absorb liquid very well. The pellets then crumble into sawdust and I use a sieve to separate the good pellets from the worn out pellets. I can go up to 15 days before having to replace the box. Outstanding cost savings.
