This product seemed much better when I first got it. I'm sorry to say that it only took about a month for the outer shell to separate from the insulation inside. I'll keep gluing it, but honestly I don't have to. To be honest, it only falls apart occasionally, but it confuses and annoys me when someone points out that the outer sleeve has fallen off when I'm carrying the bottle by the handle. If we talk about the pen, it is not very convenient to carry. I understand it's in the shape of a bottle, but you have to carry it in your hand. Trying to fit it on your wrist or hand is incredibly uncomfortable as the beveled edge digs into you. I also had mold problems. There is some black mold on the pop up lid which I can't get rid of no matter how hard I try and I've tried everything. I suspect if I can't scrub or soak it, it most likely won't end up in my water, but who knows? I also wish this thing didn't leak so much. I used to be able to drink from it, but now I have to pour water from here into a smaller bottle to drink from because it spills out almost every time I knock it over. I've tried cleaning and adjusting the rubber ring in the top but for some reason it keeps leaking. This is very frustrating and I forget to drink more water as I don't keep measuring how much is left in the bottle. While this bottle has some great features (the lock that prevents the lid from opening is great) I expected more given the brand and price. I'm sorry to say that after only 16 months of use I'm back on the hunt for a nice big cooler to carry my daily water in. I gave it an extra star for keeping my water nice and cold and despite the issues I really liked this thing for the first 9 months or so.
