The low rating I gave the cable is not because of performance issues, it is because the cable connection to the controller wears out as quickly as a cell phone charger cable . This does not apply to this product due to the crappy "industrial design" that is the norm. To be honest, this design flaw could actually be an industrial revolution for a company that could develop a plug-in system that offers a more stable and secure connection to ephemeral controllers. The cable did exactly what it was advertised and I was able to use it in place of the factory cable for the first run of my new PS4. The problem for PS3 in my case is if you use a cable that is not used by Sony it will not let me start my system from scratch. BUT this cable is a fantastic product, it just wears out very quickly. If you don't understand what I'm saying. Fix the industrial design DEFECT and you will understand more than just the product market problem.
