Review on Coral Count Colgate Powered Toothbrush by Mathew Hishmeh

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works great as a sonic toothbrush, all the extra features are fun but impractical

As the brush head meets the base design, it transfers vibrations more efficiently to the brush head and also sits firmly to prevent or slow down residue build-up. It has two vibration modes and decent strength for kids. In addition to brushing teeth, children can enjoy using brush position sensors for animation. It requires an app and a phone, which is not a good idea to give a kid a phone and close proximity to a sink/water. I like that it shows clean and unclean areas, which helps me to work on missing areas for better cleaning. But usually, brushing your teeth is something that happens naturally, and no one wants to spend that extra time tracking or playing while brushing their teeth. Children are certainly interested in it, but I don't think it can last for several weeks, they get bored after a few days or after a week. I don't see much practicality in the app or the games, by the way it requires an account and as usual data collection permissions etc. I'm just a brush fanatic and the other features don't really matter (to me).

Pros
  • Smart toothbrush uses augmented reality to help kids brush their teeth
Cons
  • Available in white color only
