I've just bought a new car and was looking for something to replace the quilts on my previous car. I have never used a hammock so I read all the reviews of the different hammocks for sale. I chose this one. It arrived today and I couldn't wait to check it out! First, the brown color matches the interior of my car and the color of the dog, which makes me never go anywhere without it. It fits perfectly in my car and we can use it in my husband's car. It is quick and easy to install and just as quick to remove. My girlfriend is well behaved and sits and looks out the window. It doesn't climb all over the back seat. In my other car she tucks her head between the seats which keeps her hair on it but because of the way this hammock rests on the seats she doesn't even try, she just sits and enjoys the ride. I took her for a ride and she ignored the hammock. I've read some reviews of other hammocks that had a chemical smell, but this one doesn't have a smell that I noticed. I use nylon and cotton materials in my work, so I find this material durable and don't foresee any wear and tear problems. The straps around the headrests are as tight as possible and in my car they are a bit loose. I imagine this is to accommodate different size headrests. I don't care because I'm very good with a sewing machine and I can adapt it to my machine myself. First impressions are lasting impressions. I love this product!
