Nice case for our needs

I received this iPad case which I got my mother for Mother's Day. It took me a long time to select a case to try as the cases available on Revain had mixed reviews. Things we looked for in a suitcase: - light weight. My mom has arthritis in her hands and that was probably the most important feature. At 5 ounces, it was the lightest case I've found from Revain - rose gold and/or clear so the rose gold color of the iPad wasn't hidden. This one has a rose gold color on the front and a clear plastic back. All holes match the corresponding iPad components. This should be the bare minimum, but it's surprising how many iPad case reviews have shown that it covers the camera or button. I've read several reviews about it stating that the cutout for the volume buttons is too small and it was difficult for people to press the buttons to toggle the volume. Luckily that didn't happen to us. Everything is aligned correctly and all buttons were still operable - one way to back up. It doesn't matter since she mainly uses the iPad in bed, but it's a nice bonus. There's only one angle you can place the iPad, and that's only in landscape mode, but it stands well without falling over. I've tried playing some games while standing on it and although there was a lot of touching on the screen, it never got off the ground. We didn't care about the auto sleep/wake feature, but wanted to point out that it works well. Just like the magnetic closure. Things I would like: - The rose gold color is a bit darker than I would like, but that's a very small request - It would be nice to have a wrist strap to make it easier to hold the iPad in bed. But maybe it would add weight. Don't think this case will protect your iPad from being dropped from a standing position onto a wood/concrete/tile floor. It protects against scratches and dirt, which is all very good because it's what I was looking for. I think it would be impossible to be both lightweight and have bulletproof damage protection. I think if you are realistic in your expectations this case is a good choice. It's not the cheapest case, but it's definitely a lot cheaper than Apple products. I think the price is fair for what it is.
