More and more decorative cushions seem to be sold separately - cover and padding. I found I have 4 pillowcases and nothing to stuff them with. So I was very happy to see them on Amazon. There were no disappointments. They arrived vacuum packed (not quite flattened, just in a handy wrapper). You first open the clear plastic bag they come in and then you can store other items. Then the cushions are sealed in durable plastic. Once removed, they are individually vacuum sealed and rolled up. If you carefully release them from the last fixation, they inflate quickly and fully. The cover and padding is 100% polyester and actually has finished piping all over, not just sloppy machine stitching. So it's almost a shame to hide them in a suitcase. Pillows are plump and comfortable if you prefer to lie on them rather than use them as decorative pillowcases. I used them to fill a 20" x 20" duvet cover and another 18" x 18" pillow. With some compression it still worked. So now I'm going to take a few more for my other blank cases. I definitely recommend these pillows for any purpose. They would even make a lovely pair of bed pillows for a child.
