I wish I had thought more carefully about the variety in this pattern set before purchasing. The seven blade types seem like a good way to explore the variety of double-edged razors. But you don't really need 3 bookmarks of each type to judge a blade. Two blades would do. I discovered very early on that there were 2 good blades (Astra and Crystal), 3 OK blades (both Sharks and a W&S blade from China sold in the Indian market) and 2 terrible blades (Sharp and 7 am) gave. . Now I have 10 Sharp blades and 5 7AM blades, which I don't care much about. I usually change blades after three shaves. The Astra and Crystal blades perform brilliantly on all three shaves and I could probably reach out and get two more good shaves from them. Sharks and W&S blades aren't always good. The first day of shaving with Sharks is a little rough, they bite a bit, but after the first day they shave very well and are comparable to my experience with the Astra and Crystal Blades. The W&S blade shaves well from day one, but wears out quickly. I can't say enough good things about Sharps or 7 AM Blades.
