It's good if you have the original gum if you don't have the free one
As mentioned before they work best when the original gum is still slightly or almost intact on the stick. With the elastic gone (like mine) this mount will come loose when installed on the left thumb pad (which is where I use it). So for my purposes - satisfactory. My son wanted his pad to have more debris on the original rubber - it's securely attached to his controller.
