Glue has been a great glue in the past. They are bright enough and the remote works very well both inside and outside the car (I have a receiver box under the hood). My only complaint is that I don't have enough wire length to get from the battery to the rear LED strip on my car and I don't have a long car (g37 coupe). However, the front and side LED strips worked great. My last car was a 2002 vw gti and I bought the same headlights for it and the cable was enough to get to the back of the gti but even on this small car I had to put a led strip under the rear axle cross member to get it getting him was about a foot and a half from the back of the car
