I finally got my hands on the ultimate 90 lb dumbbell set. The extension itself is very well constructed and very easy to fit. After adding the dumbbells, they work just as smoothly as with the original weights. Just slide the weight selector to the new max weight and lift. A nice touch is that the weight label on the side of the weight matches the rest of the stage kits.

It took me a few months to find steps 1-3 but I'm glad I found it! I had adjustable standard dumbbells with plates and rotating collars before I got powerhouses. It has changed the way I can work. The weight can be changed on the fly, making them great for drop sets or just adjusting the weight between sets. With my old db it took me 45 seconds to 1 minute to change the weight. With power blocks, this takes about 2 seconds. Your convenience means better performance and for me it's worth my…
