Work faster, save steps, work SAFER!

I need 289 functions and now I have remote viewing on Android and iPad, which saves a lot of time and many steps and can improve security. I'm impressed with the range in steel control panel environments, I suspect this range is due to the bitrate being low compared to BT audio and a few dropped frames don't matter.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • No automatic

Big disappointment

I'm a toolmaker and have been a big fan of Fluke tools for many years. I am very disappointed in this product. Supplied without instructions in the box. I tried to connect it to my 289 meter but the app didn't recognize it. After searching the internet I found a video walking through the installation (which is easy). Managed to get the app to recognize the device but couldn't establish a reliable connection, persistent "spinning wheel".

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • A few minor issues

Long range - makes a useful data logger

Setup was very easy. The Fluke app is a bit clunky and intended for technicians, not engineers. I was able to take the Fluke into a dangerous environment where I was uncomfortable holding the sensors in place and reading the readings - it worked flawlessly. My second app ran on a friend's bottling plant, the meter was connected to a control panel. I was able to set the battle line's sensors to different states and read the meter remotely - without this tool it would have been a two man…

A bit helpful for me - connection issues

Every time I try to use this I have to struggle to connect it to my iPhone 5S. I have no problems with other Bluetooth devices connecting to my phone. I've always been able to get it to work, but I'm not sure what to do to finally connect it other than try again. On my phone it only shows real time readings, it doesn't show min/max/avg which I use all the time. I always appreciate feedback on whether I'd buy it again if lost or stolen: I wouldn't buy it again. maybe next version.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember

The Fluke ir3000fc is a good product. He does what he has to. When the Fluke Connect app is running, connection is almost instantaneous. The application allows up to 10 devices to transfer information to one mobile phone. So far, so good. Application.-Requires registration, ostensibly to send information to the cloud.-Requires Android 4.3 or later.-It is not possible to send information from one device and view it on multiple phones at the same time.Android versions.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

I have several Fluke products, two of which (including this add-on) support Fluke Connect. Unlike my other FlukeConnect product, this add-on does NOT allow you to retrieve existing saved data from your Fluke 287./289 and only appears to work in "Live" mode which is completely pointless and misleading if considering how this product is advertised. Limiting data collection via the FlukeConnect app, which is absolutely ridiculous considering it's advertised to improve the device's recording…

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Legacy
