Works well but not durable at all. I dropped him from waist height and stopped him with my foot before he hit the sawdust strewn ground. Yes, it's my fault for dropping it, but it barely lasted to do anything and now I can't close it completely. Basically useless. Also, the handling of this caliper looks very cheap when viewed closely from the rear, and the wheel that opens and closes it feels very loose. I would not recommend that.
