I have been the happy owner of this phone holder for a little less than 7 months. It took a day or two to get used to the clamp and release mechanism e.g. B. how to position your hand to catch the phone after it's released from the clamps, but everything was very smooth from that point on. Overall it was easy and quick to use. Unfortunately, today when trying to mount my cell phone, the right clamp arm broke off as usual. I originally thought the quality of the plastic was strong enough to withstand years of use, but after less than 7 months of use it just didn't hold up. Looking ahead, I'm not sure if I'll be comfortable buying the same block. I think I'll look for one with clamp arms that are thicker plastic or possibly metal.
