Bought for my 98 Electra Glide. Works great so far. A couple of things: After reading reviews that I didn't get a leash, I wanted to make sure whoever I got mine from had it turned on. I saw that Semsons & Co., Inc. has 100% reviews so I called their customer service and the woman I spoke to confirmed that they only sell genuine RAM products that come packaged with RAM are and contain everything. So I went ahead and ordered from them. I received my package on time and everything (including cables) was included. So for those who read reviews, I highly recommend buying Semson's so you don't have to worry about not getting everything you need. Next thing to do are the rubber feet. Many have stated that they fell off or that the adhesive that came with them didn't work. I had crazy glue so I used it. The legs are nice and strong there, and after some crazy gluing I have a feeling they will stay in place. I didn't use the glue that came with it. Just my suggestion. Next are nylon bolts. Many people have said they are junk, poorly painted, etc. I think they are good for what you get. Just make sure you use the correct outlet to install them and be careful when installing them. Mine came new (not used), they fitted well and not a single color came off. If I had one downside for this mount, as many have said, I also had to move the phone in the mount a bit to keep my top right foot off the side buttons. When I first plugged it in, it landed right on my power button and my phone turned off. After moving around a bit, everything is fine now and my foot is no longer resting on any of the side buttons (MOTO E 2nd Gen). I know you might be worried about the phone not being in the center of the mount, but a tether will hold it securely. I only managed to do it on one ride (3 hour ride) but it stayed in place and didn't move at all. The only other minor downside is that there is no setup/installation guide in RAM, just a booklet. for other products and a brochure with pictures on one side explaining how to use the rope. It's not hard science to set up, and common sense should be all you need to figure it out, but those who rely on instructions might not be happy. Overall I am happy with this mount and would buy it anytime. one in the future. Now I just have to figure out what cup holder I want to get for the other side of the handlebars.
