📱 RAM MOUNTS X-Grip Phone Holder with Handlebar U-Bolt Attachment Review

One of the rubber feet fell off while my phone was driving 60mph on a motorcycle. Completely destroyed my $900 iPhone. wouldn't buy any other.

Terrible. The phone flew off the cradle, not once, but twice. Yes, I should have known the first time, but to be honest I thought it was an accident or that I didn't install it properly given what is usually a good experience for RAM users. I would not trust this device on a motorcycle. I saw in several other reviews that this product might be fake, so that might be the problem. No more risk.

This item is a must have. I looked at a number of phone holders but this one kept popping up in all the reviews. Then I looked at other bikes in the rallies and realized that a lot of people ride them. So I have it. Holds the cell phone. I have traveled thousands of miles with my phone in this mount with no problems. It doesn't move, doesn't vibrate, and is 360-degree adjustable on this device. It works the way you want it set up.

This is the only mounting bar I will buy again. The quality is excellent. The trick is rock hard. Everything about Ram Mounts screams professionalism. We also use Ram Mounts in all of our fire trucks at work to mount an iPad. After seeing how durable these things were, I had to buy them for my Jeep. I had this mount for my iPhone 10 about a month ago. It attached very securely to the side mirror of my Vespa Primavera. The upper left rubber element sat directly on top of the lower volume button and would turn off the music if I hit a bump. It was annoying, but it didn't break the deal. I got this mount for a Harley to mount my Edge 7 smartphone. Installation is incredibly easy: mount U-bolts and bottom bracket around the handlebars, slide the top bracket onto the U -shaped screw, put on nuts and tighten. Did.
