They do what they were designed to do. I've attached them to the underside of my desk - it works, but there are a few things I would do differently. I lined them up in one continuous row - in hindsight it would have been better to cut them into smaller segments with gaps in between. so that the wires can be placed fully inside the channel (you can see what I mean in the pictures - basically it would be better if the wires could enter the channel through the gaps between each segment). because the glue is very strong. Again, this is an important note - you need to get it right the first time, because once the adhesive touches the mounting surface, there's no more wiggle room.
