I recently had an urgent need to weigh my cat every day. As I researched other scales, I found that each had some limitations (may not be accurate if your pet isn't perfectly centered, or if your pet isn't standing still). So I tried this luggage scale. This is within plus or minus 0.1 pounds (my cat was weighed with this and compared to the weight my vet received on the same day). This digital scale works well: I wrap the strap around the straps of my cat carrier, lift it up and then press the button to tare the scale (set to 0.00) - lower the carrier back to the floor, load my cat into the Carrier and then lift Carrier + Cat to take the weight of the cat. A good economical solution for my needs.
