This jacket is great. Thick enough to provide adequate warmth and my son can easily wear a sweater underneath. It closes and closes well. The hood portion is large so fits my son's head well and provides good coverage. Plush inside so there is no noticeable irritation. My son can wear this jacket and sit comfortably in the car seat. We haven't had many cold days in North Texas this year, but this jacket, coupled with multiple layers, has performed well on days in the 10s, which is about as cold as it gets. My only complaint is that it's a bit on the big side. My son is 18 months old and in the upper 70th percentile for height for his age and I got him one based on the information available and he is a bit tall.
