While the purchase of shoelaces is a very small one, they add A real difference to the look of shoes. I have an expensive pair of white leather sneakers, and wanted to restore the whiteness of the laces. I never considered that there would be a difference in quality or appearance between one pair and another. I was dismayed to see the pretty cotton laces that came with my sneakers being replaced by cheap ugly synthetic ones. However, I couldn’t be bothered to return them and my sneakers are not new, so I guess you get what you get and you don’t get upset. Would never buy again
