Bought this CD a few years ago. The device works well - without noise, without any whistles and other unnecessary sounds. It always helps out in difficult times - when you need to save something for a long time. I noticed that if there is not enough space left on the disk, then it starts with a delay. I wish it always started faster. The disc has an excellent optical surface, slightly rough, so it does not slip on the table, which is also important. I reformatted its file system to NTFS, because the default was FAT 32, which did not suit me very much. For all the time of its operation (and this is several years with daily switching on for several hours), the disk failed only once. But after formatting it works fine again. So it's just perfect for storing information. I recommend!
