You can mix and match good and bad with it, but this is the only reasonably priced mascara remover you can trust. Yes, they cloud your eyes, so you should do this right before bed. I'm in my 50's and the oil is a plus for my skin. I pat them dry with a tissue after use and have never ended up on pillowcases.
