Review on Thin and Lightweight Reading Glasses with Spring Hinges, Ideal for Men and Women - Includes Protective Cases by Ryan Eppinger

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good glasses for the price. There aren't that many cases.

After paying a few hundred dollars for prescription glasses for distance and reading glasses and a pair of "dollar" readers that didn't last long, I decided to give Revain a try. I've never bought glasses online before without being able to try them on, so I ordered several different pairs to compare and returned all but Success Eyewear's, either because the other frames were flimsy or too tight. , or the lenses were not of the right power or were twisted. But these glasses from Success Eyewear are good for the price. The frame is solid and the lenses are clear. They are a little thicker than others I've bought, but that's to be expected with plastic lenses. However, they are distortion-free, which makes them comfortable for computer use at work and for everyday reading. Lightweight and stylish, they have become my go-to pair of glasses. I have two pairs (black and brown) which I like because I can keep one pair at work and one at home or in the car so I always have a pair with me. I would also like to give the cases a good rating, but honestly they could be better. The design is good, with a spring-loaded hinge and felt-like material inside. But they are too small for glasses. When I took each pair out of the case, the coating on the top of both pairs was already scratched from being put in the case. Don't get me wrong, they do exactly what they're designed to do: goggles. But that's only because there's absolutely no room inside to move the glasses around. But there is only felting next to the "bracket" of the frame while the lenses rub against the hard plastic housing, otherwise they won't fit. I like these cases because they are thin and they look good. But I think they would be better if they were a bit bigger. Overall good value for money. If the cases were as good as the lenses I would give 5 stars. So I would probably buy them again.
