Even though the tank is on the smaller side, there is sufficient water to quickly prepare a cup of coffee in addition to foaming milk. The temperature of the water rises relatively quickly. When the tray is removed, you won't have the space for a coffee pot, but you will have plenty of room for a cup, which is just as convenient.
