WOW! High quality, accurate LED color and portable!

I've been picky about fan noise lately, and there's nothing more annoying than trying to control fan noise while recording, which can be difficult when recording a light that's relatively close must, is not always possible topic . That being said, the 80W LED is ideal for one-person interviews and vlogging as it's portable and bright enough to use in a small softbox. The build quality of this Sokani X60 is amazing. It's compact, made entirely of metal, and looks professional. The adjustment latch is also metal, including a very precise tripod mount that really doesn't wobble even without tightening the screw. The reflector isn't cheap and flimsy either, and it would take a pretty hard crash to dent it. By the way, DO NOT install the plastic Godox LED cover where the three Bowen mounts are on the tongue. This empty space basically snaps into the X60's latch and you have to disassemble part of the latch to remove the real cover. I learned this the hard way. This is not Sokani's fault as the X60's latch locks the reflector securely in place with no play. Which brings me to the actual LED chip; It's protected by glass so you don't have to worry about transporting it with the LED open. The fan is VERY quiet. So quiet I didn't realize there was a fan. With the usual urban ambient noise, and even with some sound editing in the studio, I didn't hear it during editing. I have a very bright 150w LED from Godox but it was so loud I had to move it 15ft away which defeated the purpose of a video light so I used it when the sound didn't bother me. The remote control is also a great option when I put the light on the wand and don't want to put it down just to change the brightness. Definitely something to consider when buying a video light. The 80 watt price tag may seem higher than other comparable lights, but it is by far the best product I would really consider at a professional level!
