This cleanser was my very first purchase from a drugstore. And by a wide margin, my top pick. The gel is transparent and foams up nicely. Provides a thorough yet gentle cleansing of the skin. The residue of the gel is easy to rinse away and does not call for a significant amount of water to do so. This item is wonderful for including in my cleanser first thing in the morning. On the other hand, the cleansing effect of this gel is not sufficient for me in the evening, when I am in the final stage of removing my makeup. As a result, this makes for a very good wash in the morning. It does not aggravate or dry out my oily skin, which is prone to breakouts all the time. After five months of regular use, I was able to get through just one tube of Effaclar La Roche-Posay gel 200 ml. I find that it is excessively lengthy. Throughout this period, the product did not go stale, and even its pungent and chemical scent became nearly indiscernible, despite the fact that at the very beginning of using the gel, this aroma was highly bothersome. This is a phrase that I will absolutely use again.
