Intermittently flashes white

Im using these on a 98 honda civic. They do hyper flash. They've only been on the car a week and now one bulb started flashing white when the indicator is on. Sometimes it does as advertised and flashes amber. When it's flashing white it doesn't hyper flash. Switching indicators or to hazards doesn't help either. Because it's doing this intermittently I'm going to try connecting resistors and see if this helps if not I'm going to have to return them. Overall I love the brightness and switch back design.
