Review on Beck Arnley 180 0367 Crankshaft Position by Todd Adams

It turned out that the problem was not with the original sensor but with a stuck oil control valve which was not uncommon on a 2007 Sonata v6. for which there is a service bulletin. This valve resulted in some other parts having to be replaced. However, removing that sensor as the cause helped identify the true cause and convinced the dealer to cover the repair under my 100,000 mile 10 year warranty. So now I have a spare sensor that I'll probably never need in case anyone was wondering. My highway mpg (140 mile test drive) now matches the Hyundai reading, 30 mpg. However, my city (suburban) mileage is a lousy 13.8mpg, a far cry from Hyundai's advertised 20mpg.
