Large but comfortable bum bag

This bag fits a pack of 6 glasses, as well as keys, a wallet and maybe even a phone. It is big. It's well designed though, with external drawstrings to compress the main compartment so whatever's inside is snug against the body and doesn't wobble. The plastic backing that shapes it can be removed to better fit my smaller figure (waist 5ft 5in, 29in). It looks big but I don't think it overshadows my body. The belt is wide, which means it cuts in less than a thinner belt. Please note that the main buckle is very, very stiff and requires a reasonable amount of effort. I also found it difficult to use the inside pocket because it is so small. A standard smartphone is not suitable. Two open mesh pockets inside would make more sense. A key clip is also missing. I think the best use of this bag is for many lighter items. You could fit a full 32-ounce bottle of Nalgene along with snacks, phone, sunglasses, purse, sunscreen, lip balm, and keys. but it's HEAVY and just not very comfortable. It felt too heavy even with the 16 ounce Nalgene. Take away the water and instead add a dog leash, bowl, treats, food bags and I think it will be very handy and functional. If I had a baby I would see it work very well in an amusement park/zoo for accommodating all the random things needed to keep a baby happy (excluding water) without the need for a giant diaper bag .

Pros
  • Backpacks for backpacks
Cons
  • Not everything fits
