Works well: scanner and accessories

Easy to use. The photo holder can have more size options. I lost some photos in the car. I took them out with long, thin tweezers. The same goes for slides. I have old negatives that are larger than trays so I had to come up with something to scan them. Otherwise good quality

Not quite, but good.

the device is ok, works well. Although I bought this particular one because it claims to make 110 negatives. Unfortunately, there was no compartment for 110 negatives in the kit. Would be nice to know if and where I can get one. I gave you a five because it arrived on time, is easy to use and does everything else it promised. Much faster than a flatbed scanner.

A simple scanner but amazing results

The scanner (model M122A) was delivered promptly and produces stunning digital images. I scanned about 200 Kodachrome color slides from 50 years ago. At 8 MP, the scanner produces images of 3500 x 2332 pixels with an average size of around 1.5 MB. There is a resolution setting of 16MP (8MP CMOS sensor), but the 8MP setting is perfect for my purposes. I haven't checked the 16MP setting or negative film scanning. Recommend this updated version of the scanner!

In these strange and unusual times, so many are at home. We thought it would be a good idea to go through some old slides and film and convert them to digital format. It's pretty cool. I used one my grandfather bought about 5 years ago which was horrendous to use. This one is much easier. High quality copies require some manipulation, but this scanner is easy and quick to use

July 05, 2021 Updated Rating : My opinion has improved after continuing to use this scanner. I have raised my rating to 4 stars. I can recommend it with reservations. My initial complaint was that the 8MP saves JPEG images at 72dpi, which is far too low for good quality archival copies. However, you can increase the resolution up to 300 dpi using image editing software such as Photoshop Elements. to resize and get very acceptable results.
