Pretty colors? Yes. Do I need a 4mm rod? Yes. That's where all the good stuff with this product ends. I make and sell leather bracelets and was looking for colored rhinestone rivets to use in place of the standard clear rivets I can find locally (I'll stick with them for now). I am very disappointed in the quality of these rivets. Don't expect these rivets to be treated the same as a real top quality rivet. A few hammer hits on the right rubber block practically breaks the "metal" of the rivet. Stainless steel caps have to be the thinnest grade as I could easily crush the cap with pliers and rip from the back to separate the piece from the skin - with the right rivets you will have a hard time doing this if you are make a fatal mistake. There was also a quality control issue with what I received. Some of the backs weren't even solid which meant there was a hole all over it. Overall, this is a real case of you get what you pay for. Although the rivets are quite shiny, they look cheap overall.
