This cable is made from very thin and cheap wire. It says it's the industry standard, but it's a lot smaller than any other Molex power I've seen. This is not mentioned anywhere in the description. I was hoping to use them to place my graphics cards further in an open air mining rig, but didn't feel comfortable using such a small cable to power the risers (potential fire hazard) . I ended up using them to extend. Powering some fans to cool the setup, wires seemed good enough for the purpose and worked great. Definitely would not recommend for powering PCIe risers or anything else with high power consumption.
