There's a defrost setting, but given how big the toast bin is, the only thing that could possibly need defrosting are the sausages within. Distinct benefits: The toasts are sufficiently thin, and the roasting level can be adjusted in stages, so you may make them as lightly fried as you like or as dark as you like. The piece almost fries uniformly, but the bottom still fries more poorly. Fry the entire loaf at once for a large company and you won't have any issues. Some drawbacks: Is the bottom of the piece not as roasted as the rest (it seems the heating components are somewhat higher than the basket with toast falls)?
