My pups, mini schnauzers, loved these and had a great time chewing on them. They don't stink nor leave a stain on the carpet. My dogs are little and these lasted about an hour. I ended up taking them away from them when they got to the very end. They were very slimy and the piece was so small that one of my minis tried to swallow it and it got stuck in his throat. I had to pull it out or he would choke. But that can be said of almost any chew for dogs. Never give the chews to them unsupervised. The sticks are very thin so if you have a big dog or an aggressive chewer, these won't last long. Otherwise my fur babies enjoyed. The cost of these in comparison with the size of the sticks, I'm not sure I'll buy them regularly.
