I'm so glad I finally bought one of these things. I was always fiddling with my mouse cable and hated the slightest change in weight/traction. I didn't expect it to be so perfect. I literally never think about customizing my mouse again. I thought maybe the height/pull would frustrate me, but this is literally a flawless design. The base has enough weight that it never moves, but if you're serious about adjusting your position, it can be dragged to a new spot with no effort. doesn't fully lock into place and it's very easy to slide through the top and adjust where you like. Even so, the design doesn't allow the cable to naturally slacken any more than you'd like. Overall, this is probably the best purchase I've made for my office. Highly recommended.
