Review on MROCO Capacity Puncher Skid Resistant Chipboard Scrapbooking & Stamping by Dawn Fischer

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Quoted hole size is 1/4 " smaller than standard liner holes!

Every punch claims a 1/4" hole size and this machine is no exception. Opening a standard sheet with interleaves is however, slightly larger than 1/4" by about 1/32". Therefore, the holes created by this device are smaller than the standard earmold holes and the difference is quite noticeable. I'm not sure if the old-fashioned, original chrome Squeeze punch, which also claims 1/4" holes, just rounds off its actual hole size, but the one I have cuts a standard pull-sheet size hole. This device, as I said, is NO. So it's hard to say if this product is defective but it doesn't meet my needs for $7 it's not worth returning so I just go back to the original tool this is why I also find it difficult ig to align the device accurately with the intended hole pattern and this combined with smaller holes results in many inaccurate holes.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous
