Review on Airline Approved Pet Carrier Board by Cheryl Wilson

Perfect with one or two exceptions

So my son and I have been living in California for 6 months. My mother lives with us part-time and my father comes to visit as often as his health allows. But one very important family member is missing - our cat Murphy. He lived with my father while we settled here. My son missed him terribly. I knew I had to fly home this month, so I looked for an airline that Murphy could take. He's a big boy (18lbs) so I had a hard time finding him. Finally I took the risk. It was perfect. Murphy could stand up and roll around in it, it was comfortable to sleep on, and there was plenty of ventilation. I especially liked the ltitle window that could be unzipped. This allowed me to pet my baby while waiting at the airport. Fits well under the seat too. There were just a few things I would change. I would have liked more pockets. Since I also needed carry-on luggage, the carry-on luggage was actually my "personal item” and I could have used more storage space. However, I am sure that this will not be a problem for the average traveler. But that will definitely be in the next version. This shoulder strap MUST be padded. Of course, my cat is fat, but the harness is in dire need of a feed. It really hit me in the shoulder. I'm sure it would be helpful for those who use it for travel as everyone has to walk at the airport. I have arthritis in both wrists so it was impossible to carry it by the handle. I can't give 5 stars and really didn't want to give 4 but there is no way to give partial stars. I give him 4 1/2.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Upgradable
