Bought two of these for my Arlo Pro 2 cameras and installed one on the west side and one on the east side of my house. Just before sunrise, both cameras started charging. The underbelly of the house showed a 1% battery gain through 11am. Western camera records more than 100 movements daily. The solar panel meets that demand, adding a few percent of the charge every day. I live in the South West and it's summer now. I will update these results in winter. -------- UPDATE -------- I see a lot of bad reviews about things that don't charge. Having spent the winter with six of them I may have an explanation for some of these reviews. The panel is not to blame. When the temperature of lithium-ion batteries falls below 60 degrees Fahrenheit, they charge more slowly. If they're frozen, they won't charge at all. I had to wait until late in the morning for the sun to warm up my Arlo enough to charge it again. Putting the camera in one of those black cases helped. Also, sometimes the Arlo needs to be restarted before it can be charged. So far I had to do this with two of my six cameras. The panel itself is incredibly simple and requires no maintenance. The plug is complicated, but once it works forever. If your battery is no longer charging, there is probably another reason.
