None of the four batteries I bought worked. I've tried them on different cameras, different areas/angles etc. but none of them showed charging. In fact, they seemed to be draining the battery. Looking at the panels, the small pieces of silver connecting the cells aren't well placed, so I suspect this is a manufacturing issue. Very disappointing as I was hoping to stop changing batteries.

I live in Florida and even in the sunshine state this device couldn't charge my Arlo Pro camera. It never worked. It didn't even slow down the discharge rate. This actually accelerated the discharge (in two days the battery went from 100% to 88% on sunny days with over 5 hours of direct sunlight on the panel and no alarm). Save money and find another device.

I installed two of these south facing batteries with unobstructed sunlight all day in the California sun. It worked for several weeks (very very slow loading) and stopped working fully almost immediately after closing the reverse window. Connections checked everything ok. The surface cleaned up. Designed to fail obviously. Wasserstein cares very little about its customers when they restrict return windows because their products are designed to fail. I try to be green, but I end up with garbage.

Arlo cameras are installed in various spots in our garden. At a certain location every 3 months I would pull out our 24ft ladder to charge our camera's battery. The Wasserstein solar panel eliminated this problem. In the picture you can see the camera against a blue sky. This experiment only lasted two weeks, but I'm thrilled with Wasserstein's solar panel - light, strong, and it charges our camera. We'll keep you updated if our rating changes.

Do not recommend this product. I have 4 and they are not charged. When you live in SWFL you think you can't go wrong with all that sun. The camera detects "charging" but never charges. waste of money. Check out this product though. Works perfectly. This solar panel doesn't seem to produce enough electricity to charge the camera's battery, even in bright sunlight. In the attached photos you can see that the panel is tilted towards the sun at its maximum (note the shadow for the orientation of the sun). It's 90 degrees outside so temperature isn't the issue. I've been trying to reach the seller for a couple of different solar panels for some time, I'm getting error messages saying my cameras won't charge and saying they're incompatible. They are said to be compatible with Arlo cameras but not compatible. Bought two of these for my Arlo Pro 2 cameras and installed one on the west side and one on the east side of my house. Just before sunrise, both cameras started charging. The underbelly of the house showed a 1% battery gain through 11am. Western camera records more than 100 movements daily. I've had the opportunity to use them for a while and here are my results. - If you do NOT insert a fully charged (100%) battery. They will expire faster. They do NOT charge your batteries.
