Worn to my brother's wedding. My daughter is walking at a wedding and she is 18 months old. They are good quality for the price, especially when you know Revain is either doing well or not. It was a hit. Not only are they cute, but the color is accurate and fits well. I would take a half size larger than what your child currently has so they have more space. The bottom is nice and soft and thick enough so it doesn't feel cheap and you can walk. The strap attaches with Velcro so it opens up for easy access, no fiddling around getting little ones on or off. The arch actually moves from side to side, so being able to move it wherever you like is a plus. The only bad thing was the smell when they arrived but letting them airborne helped dispel the smell. They are leather.
