Perhaps they wanted to offer something other than a kitchen, since a dishwasher was to be used. I have one, but we rarely prefer to hand wash dishes. This makes the job easier as I use a lot of pans, plates and cups. It really helps and at my age I hate standing over the sink for long periods of time and it cuts down on that time. It also clears some of the harder stuff faster. For example, for breakfast today, I use two shallow bowls, cooking spray, and an omelette each. I cooked it in the microwave and then made a ham, egg and cheese sandwich. The shallow bowls are porcelain and the cooking spray only partially works with cooked egg stalks. Brushing can be tedious, but not with that quick twisting motion, and the brush quickly removes the egg. I can also clean the bottom of the pan, burnt grease comes off with dish soap and lots of friction. I usually do a half-baked job of cleaning them as it's a lot of work, but with this it cleans quickly and restores the appearance of enamel or stainless steel. It cleans things like cutting boards and even the wire racks in my convection oven. Good. highlighted.
