At some point in the years between projects I managed to lose my pesky not-so-special air filter nut. I took this nut Mr. Seal on a whim. For some reason I assumed it was chrome plated plastic, but it's a pretty good piece of steel. It's smooth on the sides and has a beautiful raised, textured finish on top. The black and chrome look is attractive, and the nut isn't too big to look out of place or gaudy. I can't say there's anything necessarily wrong with him, he does his job perfectly and looks good doing it. For about $5, it adds a nice touch to the engine bay.
