Review on ๐Ÿถ NUTRO Adult Grain-Free Dry Dog Food - Limited Ingredient Diet by Vanessa Campbell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Key Point: TRULY chicken-free

the pit's mix, the skin was so dry that from a scratch the scales are scattered like a blizzard. Within a few weeks of switching to this food, his skin was clear and his coat was softer and shinier. (I believe this is because now that the skin is healthier, his natural oils are able to properly disperse throughout his coat.) He also appears to be having less gastrointestinal distress, farting less (which was HARMFUL), he hasn't thrown up lately (a fairly frequent occurrence) and isn't eating that much grass/plants in the garden. Both dogs have harder stools; The dog mentioned above often had a "soft serve" consistency. Nutro's Regular Lamb and Brown Rice contain "chicken flour" as a second ingredient. I think it's an allergy my dog has and has nothing to do with the grain. I really wish Nutro's chicken free products were REALLY chicken free as this seems to be a common dog allergy and honestly paying a high price for "grain free" is a little stinky if that's not the point. Despite everything, I am very happy that it both looks and feels better! We will continue to buy this food (buying from Ch*wy for now as 22lb bags are not regularly priced from Revain).
