Taste great after installing these filters, they really work. No more plastic taste from ice. Flavor is comparable to a $50 OEM GE filter.

Easy to install. The fridge is about 6 years old and has an XWFE filter. This filter looks and works the same. Water and ice are the same quality as before. I see no reason to overpay for another exorbitant price.

These 3 filter packs were less than 1 OEM filter and work great. It's easy to install and doesn't leak or drip. After installation, make sure to turn the water on for a few minutes until it runs clear, and then your water will taste great!

I have used Pureline filters with my other fridge in the past and they have worked great. The water is clear and tastes like water. When we bought a new fridge we needed a different model of filter and I was happy to see that Pureline had that version too. I've only had this replacement filter for a few days, but it works great.

This filter does not replace the GE XWFE water filter. The refrigerator gives an error message and does not supply water. Take a closer look if you want to buy Pureline PL-4100. It says that this is a replacement for the GE XWF filter (without E). Apparently "uh" is important! Neither of these filters worked in my GE fridge freezer. The new GE XWFE worked.

First I ordered another brand that didn't work either. One of his problems was that the holes were partially blocked. I thought yours was better and the holes were open but when I plugged it in nothing worked I got an error. I sent back the GE I was going to replace and everything worked fine. Then I tried again with the same negative result. I plan to return them.

. My model uses XWF (NOT XWFE) and I made sure my fridge didn't have a chip reader that might prevent this, but I was still concerned. I had no problems screwing in the new filter and dosing the water. Lately my system has been showing an error code when dispensing water and literally spewing it out, but after installing the Pureline filter, no such code came up and the water is flowing just as fast as it did when I bought the fridge. Very happy with this purchase!

I didn't dislike anything about the NSF Certified #PL-4100 Pureline Drinking Water Cartridge. Actually it was excellent. First off, the cost of a pack of three cartridges was much cheaper than buying a genuine GE TM filter locally. At first I hesitated about abandoning the original GE XWF. You never know what to expect from a replacement like this but given the affordable price of 3 packs I had to give it a try. I did quite a bit of research to confirm that this branded model will indeed be a 'universal' replacement for the well-known GE brand. As soon as I received them I immediately made a replacement which was the same. And the water quality, although it took a few glasses after rinsing the new filter for the first time, eventually improved to the point where I knew the filter
